Bright steels are those that have been subjected to a cold drawn process, turning or grinding, in order to obtain greater dimensional accuracy and a better surface quality.

Bright steels are characterized by their dimensional accuracy, surface quality and good straightness.

By the cold deformation, the bright steels present greater strength and hardness but less ductility.

Their most common applications are for screws, bolts, tips, nipples, washers, sleeves, chains, connecting rods, bolts, pipes, metallic structures and agricultural machinery.
